Lisa and Ken.

The beautiful Lisa STUNNED her hubby and wedding guests when she walked up the aisle in House of Snowball’s first MINI WEDDING DRESS! A great deal of subterfuge was involved to keep Lisa’s ‘mini’ a secret and the looks on the faces of the wedding guests were priceless as she sashayed down the aisle with her gorgeous pins on parade.

Lisa looked incredible in her half traditional white silk satin and organza mini dress, with beautiful vintage 1960’s guipure cotton lace bodice, detachable white silk satin charmeuse drape and vintage diamante buckle.
The dress was custom designed, taking inspiration both from House of Snowball’s “Chinoiserie Tutu” and Lisa’s mum Judy’s original wedding dress from the 70’s, with guipure cotton lace detail.

What an event! The guests had an absolute ball when they entered Westside Events, a converted warehouse in West Melbourne, which was decked out like a summertime garden party, complete with Astroturf, ice-cream van and hedged fruit trees.
The Bridal party was escorted to the event in none other than a blue Volkswagen Kombi van!

The Groom, Groomsmen and Father of the Bride looked dashing, sporting an eclectic mix of brightly coloured ties and each with a unique handmade pin from House of Snowball.

The men’s pins were made from a vintage hatpin, collaged with silk scraps, vintage laces, clustered with buttons, feathers and found objects.

To complement the Groomsmen, the Bridesmaids wore wrist corsage keepsakes, a posy of fruity coloured fabric snippets and haberdashery trinkets.
